 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After emigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actor for children. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and was a regular in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being cast in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due to the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she was kicked out of her sophomore year and earned an GED. Then, she went on to receive the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
